The Melting Heart is a piece of artwork I designed on paper back in October of 2019. I later recreated the design on illustrator; cleaning up lines and fine tuning the design, so I could sell it during the art market. I wanted to use gradients and fading lines to make a 3D image on a 2D surface. I utilized my ability to use layers, and figure ground balancing to have the deception of the heart being inside of the ice cube. It is a multifaceted design used as a sticker, a t-shirt and eventually a beanie.

This is displaying my process from the final paper design to the final stages of the digital design. I was working with layers and outlines as well as establishing an order of importance within the piece.
